Meet the SITC Instructors
To book private, semi-private or small group lessons, please contact an instructor, directly by email to arrange a time. The instructor will book the court at the front desk. Upon arriving for the lesson, payment must be made at the Front Desk, our instructors are not permitted to accept payments directly or personally.
The lesson rates, which include both court and instructor time are as follows:
- Members: $55 per lesson hour
(which breaks down per player to $55/hr private, $27.50/hr semi-private and $13.75/hr group of four)
- Non-Members: $80 per lesson hour
(which breaks down per player to $80/hour private, $40/hr semi-private and $20/hr group of four)
Paul needs no introduction to Club members, as he has been teaching tennis in Sudbury since 1981 and joined the Club in 1992. Paul earned his OTA Level 1 Instructor qualifications in 1996. Paul has coached two players to scholarships at US Universities and has worked with two provincially ranked juniors. Several of his students have been successful at City, NOSSA and OFSSA championships. Paul is an Accounting grad from Cambrian College and works for the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
Patrizio (Pat) Presenza.
A newly qualified Level I Instructor, Pat has a BA in Physical Education from Gallaudet University and a BEd from York University. Pat loves to teach and looks forward to applying his teaching and instructional skills on the tennis courts, with an emphasis on small group and semi-private instruction. Pat is an active player in Northern Ontario and hopes to promote our instructional programs to tennis and club newcomers.
